Things I miss ..

This was the best cereal EVER ..!!!
Wikipedia's definition -
Buc Wheats Cereal was a boxed cereal produced by General Mills throughout the 1970s and early 1980's. The cereal consisted of toasted flakes of wheat (originally also with buckwheat) with a sweet maple-flavored glaze baked onto them.

There was nothing better then getting a huge clump of cereal all stuck together. Who needed milk .. or fruit .. this cereal was soaked in maple syrup !!! AWESOME !!!

A High Nutrition cereal too .. imagine that .. soaked in maple syrup ..!!!

The greatest candy bar EVER !! 15 inches of chocolate and caramel .. that's right 15 inches !! How did you know that you say .. there was a ruler on the back of the package. Brach's now makes a cheap knockoff called the Curly Wurly .. it just doesn't taste the same.
Mars - M&M's had a real winner with the Marathon Bar. Great ad campaign also .. how could you not buy this candy from John Wayne's son.
He may not look like a candy salesman .. but who cares this candy was so much better than any other .. it had to be put on the counter at 7-11. It was too big for the candy aisle !!
You could freeze it .. bust it up .. and it would last a long long long time. Enjoy it a little at a time ..
IT WAS LIKE A MARATHON !!

More on candy I miss .. the REGGIE BAR was amazing.
Yes .. another huge candy bar .. I like my candy large and in charge. It wasn't on the shelf long enough for me .. if Babe Ruth could still have the Baby Ruth out there .. there is room on the shelf for the REGGIE BAR !!

I miss my Velva Print .. Velvet Blacklight .. Posters .. I had them covering every part of the walls in my room .. and had an 18" tube blacklight lit up most of the time ..

Before McDonald's Big Mac.. before the Burger King Whopper .. there was the SUPERBURGER !!

They were all over Long Island .. Nathan's took over there locations when they went out of business .. but they had great burgers. Yes .. they were SUPER !!!

My grandparents used to take me there .. imagine getting 2 Whoppers for 79 cents. That's how big the SuperBurger's were .. maybe even BIGGER !!

The chain was known for its 15-cent burgers, its signature burger was the Big W, and 10-cent fries, and had the slogans "LOOK FOR THE ORANGE CIRCLES" and "BUY THEM BY THE BAGFULL".Wetson's also had two clown mascots, Wetty (female) and Sonny (male), in the style of McDonald's Ronald McDonald. At its peak, Wetson's had approximately 70 locations in the the greater New York metropolitan area.
