SDCC 2013 - Retro Outlaw (Booth # 929) Exclusive : Evel Fett


Retro Outlaw has revealed the San Diego Comic-con exclusive The Galactic Bounty Hunter Stuntman EVELFETT. This pop culture mash-up of Boba Fett and Evel Knievel stands 12? tall and has a removable cape and swagger stick. He is packaged in a retro-style package. If you’re one of the first 150 people to pick him up, you’ll also get a limited edition EVEL FETT screen print. You’ll be able to pick this up, and other cool stuff, at the Retro Outlaw booth at SDCC – booth 929.

Funko NEWS - Funko & N.E.N. : National Entertainment Network Introduce POP! Skill Crane

BROOMFIELD, CO -- National Entertainment Network reports that it has teamed up with toy manufacturer Funko (Lynwood, WA) to launch an skill crane that will deliver 100% Funko Pop! merchandise to players and collectors.
The amusement vending machines will feature Funko's pop-culture, character-based vinyl toys, which are miniature replicas of celebrities. They will start rolling out nationwide on June 20 in "front-end" retail locations. NEN plans to install them in more than 200 restaurant and "brick-and-mortar" national chain retail stops, set for a $1 vend price.
NEN marketing director Gregg Smith said, "We anticipate these games will be popular for crane players and Funko collectors alike, and will expand both companies' client base."
NEN is the United States' largest amusement vending company, running more than 150,000 pieces of coin-operated equipment. It distributes thousands of toys and other items through claw machines in the largest retailers and restaurants chains across the country. The Funko cranes are manufactured by Rainbow Crane, a unit of NEN.
Funko has found favor with its collectible "bobblehead-like" vinyl figures, and risen to prominence in a segment of the toy industry popular with children and adults alike through its interpretations of modern and "retro" characters.
