Vinyl NEWS - RON ENGLISH X SLASH Limited Edition Bust Sculpture

Ron English and SLASH have worked together to create a limited edition fiberglass bust of the now iconic image. In collaboration with the prestigious Hong Kong sculpture house Garage Works, the approximately 15" tall ENGLISH SLASH bust is being released in a limited edition of 10 pieces, each signed and numbered by both Ron English and SLASH. The RON ENGLISH X SLASH Limited Edition Bust Sculptures will be available on POPaganda.com on Monday April 8th at 12pm EST*.

When SLASH, arguably the world’s greatest guitar player, embarked on a solo career with his album SLASH & Friends, collaborations with his favorite singers, he asked artist Ron English to collaborate with him on the cover. Ron interpreted SLASH’s iconic skull with a top hat using Ron's unique glowing color technique in a boudoir atmosphere complete with guitar/derriere crossbones. 

In response to the popularity of the album artwork Ron English and SLASH have worked together to create a limited edition fiberglass bust of the now iconic image. In collaboration with Garage Works, the prestigious sculpture house in Hong Kong, the ENGLISH SLASH bust is being released in a limited edition of 10, each signed and numbered by Ron English and SLASH.

Mars Attacks! : SDCC '12 Exclusive Bust

It's never too early to start thinking Comic-Con International, and Gentle Giant certainly have, unveiling the first look at their exclusive Mars Attacks bust. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the original, controversial trading cards from Topps, much new merchandise is planned, including new cards, T-shirts, toys...but this will be the only bust, and only available for purchase at SDCC. And while anyone with a brain in their head would run from a ray-gun-wielding alien with a brain outside of its, a limited-edition collectible (only 550 will be made) like this should have you setting a course for the GG booth at full speed to acquire this bad boy.

He clearly does not come in peace, but there's no assembly required for this 7.5" replica, whose torso is perched atop a flying saucer, with exhaust flames serving as the bust base.
