Custom Crazed - DigDug Mash-Up
The dynamic art duo that is Scribe and Alisa Ross are back at it with their vinyl/plush mashup's and for this go around they too completed an amazing piece for the upcoming "Tribute to Video Games" at Gallery 1988 in Venice! The game they chose to represent was 'DigDug' and I would have never thought of that game in 100 years, but boy do i remember it being one of my favorites! The objective of Dig Dug is to eliminate underground-dwelling monsters by inflating them until they pop... and for this art duo's rendition Scribe customized a 10" MAD*l to represent the protagonist 'DigDug' and Alisa created the rad plush red round 'Pooka' monster... in mid-purge form! I am totally taken aback by this, and if you look closely, they transformed a smaller 5" MAD*l body into the air-pump device... AMAZING!!!
